WHEN A MAN IS SUSPECTED OF STEALING, WORKERS IN TRICHY, TAMIL NADU, TIE HIM

 


When a man is suspected of stealing, workers in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, tie him to a tree and beat him to death.

At the Ashapura Saw Mill in Manigandam, Tamil Nadu, a man was reportedly tied to a tree and beaten to death by the mill's employees. The incident occurred on the Trichy-Madurai highway.

The saw mill, where premium timber from Nigeria and Myanmar is imported and used to make furniture and household items, employs workers from different states.

Three workers from Assam said they witnessed a man break in and enter the saw mill on Saturday morning. The individual was apprehended and charged with stealing. He was killed by beating and tying him to a tree.

When the police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the purported break-in, they discovered the man had died.

Chakravarthi from Thuvakudi has been recognized as the victim. Chakravarthi had wounds on his right arm, right knee, right elbow, right neck, and male reproductive organ when he was discovered.

Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code has been invoked by the police in their prosecution of saw mill owner Dhirendar and Assamese citizen Faizal Sheik Hook.
