He Left His Wife After She Gave Birth To A Black Boy. You Won't Believe What Happened 20 Years Later

   We follow Laya (previously referred to as Layla) as she deals with the aftermath of her husband Rob's sudden abandonment of their family, 20 years ago. 

After Rob's departure, Laya faced numerous challenges as a single mother, but was supported by her best friend Amanda. 

Three years later, Rob filed for divorce after getting to know that they were not going to work, leaving Laya devastated but determined to focus on her career and caring for her son David.

Four years after Rob's departure, Laya found happiness with a close friend and colleague, George, who eventually developed feelings for her.    

Despite her initial reluctance, Laya eventually realized her feelings for George and they rekindled their relationship. However, uncertainties lingered as they faced potential challenges. 

Twenty years later, Rob's life took a turn for the worse when he was diagnosed with leukemia and needed a bone marrow transplant.

 Rob's mother reached out to Laya and David, revealing that Rob was in desperate need of a donor. Despite her hatred for Rob, Laya agreed to help out of a sense of duty and to prove her innocence in past accusations of infidelity.   

 David, who had been rejected by his father due to his black skin tone, agreed to donate his bone marrow to save Rob's life. Upon meeting Rob at the hospital, David and Laya remained indifferent towards him. 

Rob was humiliated and spiraled into severe depression and alcoholism, leading to his termination from work. Despite this, David went on to graduate from college and secure a lucrative job, while Rob remained a mere shadow of his former self.    

At David and Laya's wedding reception, Rob unexpectedly appeared, insisting that David was his son and trying to force his way in. 

Rob was forcibly removed from the premises, and during the wedding, his bitterness intensified as he watched David expressing gratitude towards Laya and George. 

Rob made another attempt to enter the hall, revealing himself as David's biological father. 

David denied any association and had Rob ejected from the wedding. Defeated and overcome with despair, Rob wept on the pavement outside the gate.
