Punishment' for disobedience, husband's brutal 'trip' by tying wife to motorcycle


Amid nationwide protests over the rape-murder of a young doctor in RG, another horrific incident of violence against women came to the fore.

 A video from Rajasthan went viral on Monday. In the 40-second video, a woman's legs are tied behind the motorcycle.

 In that situation, a person is driving the motorcycle. A woman's hands and feet rub on the bumpy, rocky road, accompanied by desperate screams. After the video went viral on social media, the Rajasthan police were shaken.

The accused was arrested on Tuesday. According to the police, this incident in Nagaur, Rajasthan is a month old, but recently the video has gone viral.

Why such torture on women?

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was the wife of the arrested motorcyclist Premaram Meghwal (32). Accused Premaram has also been accused of drug addiction. 

He often beat his wife while intoxicated. He did not even allow his wife to have special association with the people of the village.

 On the day of the incident, the woman wanted to go to her sister's house in Jaisalmer, but the husband refused to let her go.

 Despite this, Premaram was giving him 'punishment' by tying him to the back of the motorcycle because of his wife's insistence!.

The police have learned that the woman is in Jaisalmer after this incident. The police team went and recorded his statement. After that, Premaram was arrested. 

It is claimed that the woman did not report to the police for fear of further torture by her husband. However, the police are also looking for whoever recorded the video of the incident. 

Why they recorded the video and uploaded it on social media without helping the woman, the question is also raised. Investigators said strict action will be taken against accused Premaram Meghwal.
